I'm Back, Baby!

This is a momentous day in both my life and the history of this, the little blog that probably can't. When I started this venture it was, you will be surprised to learn, on a whim, a dare really, and in conjunction with a couple of other friends who you'll find linked over on my sidebar. Now, though, it's all about the love of the blog. I'm back for good, or at least for today, and this time it's all for me. I haven't really decided in what direction I'm going to take this blog, because, honestly, I'm not really that angry a person. Sure, sometimes I'll rant and rave about sports, traffic or even occasionally something of some importance. Usually, though, I'm pretty even keel, which is why this blog didn't really go anywhere the first time around. I quickly realized that I didn't have much to be angry about on a regular basis. The great news is, I'm not only the author of this blog, I'm also the only person on earth who is going to be reading it, so I can do whatever I want. For now, I think I'll sit back and let it develop organically. The only thing I really know for sure is that what happens here is going to be magic. MAGIC! Thanks for reading, me. Any time, me.

My #1 goal as a blogger is to make my fellow bloggers, and anyone who may just drop in for a visit, as comfortable as possible. To that end, I am unveiling a very special feature on my blog: my Special Saturday Night playlist. I'm confident that this playlist will serve to enhance your experience as you navigate around the sparse, limited, and honestly, pretty uninteresting features of my blog. If you're wondering why there's only one song on my playlist, the answer is twofold: 1) it's the most magnificent song ever put to vinyl; and 2) there's not much to do on my blog, so you'll probably be done by the time the one song is over. If by chance you're still here when the song ends, you may need to seriously consider getting some new hobbies, or maybe just interacting with your children a little more. But be that as it may, please, feel free to enjoy the beautiful music again and again at your leisure. As I said, I'm here to serve you, the blogger. We deserve it. My Not-So-Secret Shame

Here is your first insight as to why I'm such an angry (read: pathetic) guy. I really liked the pink tones of my blog template. I thought they were calming and welcoming; that all who entered this happy blog would feel a little bit happier and more comforted by its soothing hues. But I get one comment questioning the color choice and I immediately capitulate and change to a safe blue. I wish I could be stronger for all my fellow bloggers. Sigh.

So here I am at work, and I'm all ready to blog about the many things that I'm already angry about today, and I've got nothing. Granted it's early yet, but I drove all the way to work from my house, and I listened to talk radio while I drove, and 2 people have already talked to me since I've been here, so shouldn't I at least be mildly irritated already? Maybe today is the rare day in which hope actually springs eternal. I sincerely doubt it, but hey, I'm open minded.

Let's get to it.

I started this blog with the intention of creating a place where I could simply vent about the literally thousands of people and events that enrage, infuriate, annoy or otherwise just tickle my fancy in a given day. I hope the angry decor or the intimidating name of the blog doesn't scare anyone, but I wanted to convey the sheer rage and whimsy that I feel as I passionately share my feelings about life, love and the Arizona State Sun Devils. So please, join me on this titilating foray into the blogosphere. And while you're at it, maybe you can share what's in your heart of hearts also. Let's get to it.
